1. About Tavemio

These Terms of Service govern purchases made through Tavemio and the use of our online store.

Throughout these Terms, “Tavemio”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tavemio.

By placing an order through our online store, you agree to these Terms together with our applicable Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

2. Products

We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the products offered through Tavemio, including descriptions, images, specifications, features and other material product information.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device, manufacturing variations or product packaging.

Any information that is material to the safe and intended use of a product will be provided where required by applicable law.

Product availability may change.

Tavemio may use third-party suppliers, sourcing platforms, warehouses and fulfilment partners to store, prepare and ship products.

Tavemio remains the seller responsible for your purchase. The use of a third-party supplier or fulfilment partner does not transfer Tavemio's obligations towards you as a customer.

3. Prices, Taxes and Currency

Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your market or shown during checkout.

Before you place an order, the checkout will display the total amount charged by Tavemio, including applicable taxes and delivery charges that Tavemio is required to collect.

For Danish consumers, prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT where required.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes or similar charges may apply depending on the destination, product and fulfilment location.

Where Tavemio does not collect such charges at checkout, information about potential additional charges will be provided where required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers to the customer a cost that Tavemio is legally required to bear.

4. Placing an Order

You place an order by completing the checkout process and activating the final order button indicating that the order involves an obligation to pay.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during checkout is accurate, including:

your name;
email address;
delivery address; and
payment information.

After your order has been placed, Tavemio will send an electronic order confirmation using the contact information provided during checkout.

A purchase agreement will generally be concluded when you complete the checkout process, subject to applicable law.

Tavemio does not reserve a general right to cancel an otherwise binding consumer contract merely because a product later becomes inconvenient to supply.

If an order genuinely cannot be fulfilled, or if an obvious error or other exceptional circumstance affects the validity or performance of the agreement, the matter will be handled in accordance with applicable law. We will contact you without undue delay and refund any amount that must be refunded.

5. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Your payment provider may authorise or reserve the purchase amount when you place your order.

Where Danish payment rules apply, Tavemio will not finally capture payment for physical goods before the goods have been shipped, except where another timing is specifically permitted by applicable law.

The exact processing of an authorisation may depend on the payment method and payment provider.

You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use.

If payment cannot be authorised or completed, your order may not be processed.

6. Shipping and Delivery

The available delivery methods and applicable shipping terms are displayed on our website and/or during checkout.

Estimated delivery times may vary between products because Tavemio may use different suppliers and fulfilment locations.

The applicable estimated delivery time will be communicated in connection with the relevant product, order or Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are not intended to remove any statutory rights relating to delayed delivery.

If no specific delivery period has been agreed, mandatory rules regarding delivery time continue to apply.

For Danish and EU consumer purchases, applicable consumer law provides remedies where a product is not delivered within the agreed period or, where no period has been agreed, within the applicable statutory period.

7. Separate Shipments

Because Tavemio may use multiple fulfilment partners, products ordered together may sometimes:

be shipped separately;
originate from different fulfilment locations;
arrive on different dates; and
have separate tracking numbers.

You will not be charged additional Tavemio shipping fees after completing your order merely because Tavemio chooses to fulfil an order in multiple parcels, unless an additional charge was clearly agreed before the purchase.

8. Risk During Delivery

Tavemio remains responsible for the shipment in accordance with applicable consumer law until the goods have been delivered to you or another person designated by you, subject to any statutory exceptions.

If a parcel is lost or damaged before delivery, please contact Tavemio.

Your rights are not reduced merely because a third-party carrier or fulfilment provider was used.

9. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

Our rules concerning:

statutory withdrawal;
voluntary U.S. returns;
return shipping;
refunds;
defective products;
cancellations; and
our Danish two-year statutory right of complaint

are described in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.

For consumers in Denmark and other applicable EU countries, Tavemio provides the statutory right of withdrawal required by applicable law.

Customers may exercise their withdrawal rights using the electronic withdrawal function available through Tavemio's online store where required by law.

Customers may also contact Tavemio using the methods permitted under applicable law.

Using the electronic withdrawal function does not automatically mean that Tavemio has approved a particular return condition or remedy; Tavemio will process the request according to mandatory consumer law and the applicable return policy.

10. Electronic Withdrawal Function for EU Customers

Customers entitled to an EU statutory right of withdrawal can submit an electronic withdrawal request through the functionality provided on our online store.

The electronic process allows the customer to identify themselves and the relevant order and to confirm that they wish to withdraw.

After a valid electronic withdrawal request is submitted, an electronic confirmation will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

This electronic option is provided in addition to other legally permitted methods of exercising the right of withdrawal.

11. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete or otherwise does not conform to the purchase agreement, please contact:

Please provide your order number and reasonable information necessary to identify and assess the issue.

Where relevant, we may request photographs or similar documentation.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable consumer law, available remedies may include:

repair;
replacement;
an appropriate reduction in price; or
termination of the purchase and refund.

We will not require a consumer to bear costs that Tavemio is legally required to bear.

For Danish consumer purchases, the statutory rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply, including the applicable right to complain about defective goods.

12. Order Cancellations

Where applicable, customers can submit cancellation requests through Tavemio's electronic customer/order functionality before fulfilment.

A cancellation request will be handled according to the status of the order and applicable consumer law.

If an order has already been shipped, the statutory or contractual return and withdrawal rules may apply instead.

The customer's mandatory withdrawal rights are not removed merely because fulfilment has begun or the order has been shipped.

13. Return Address

Unless Tavemio provides different written instructions for a specific return, our return address is:

Customers may hand a properly addressed return parcel to an appropriate postal service, parcel shop or carrier service point.

A parcel shop used for sending the return is an indelivery point, not Tavemio's return address.

Please review our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy before returning a product.

14. Intellectual Property

The Tavemio name, logo and original website content, graphics and other materials owned by Tavemio are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, product names, photographs or other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Acceptable Use of the Website

You must not knowingly use our website to:

carry out unlawful activity;
submit fraudulent orders;
attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
distribute malicious software;
interfere with the operation or security of the store; or
violate the rights of Tavemio, another customer or a third party.

Nothing in this section restricts legitimate consumer complaints, reviews, legal claims or exercise of statutory rights.

16. Website Availability

We may maintain, update or modify our website when reasonably necessary.

Temporary technical interruptions may occur.

Nothing in this section limits Tavemio's obligations relating to an order that has already resulted in a binding purchase agreement.

17. Liability and Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.

Tavemio remains responsible for its obligations as the seller even where suppliers, fulfilment providers, carriers, payment providers or other service providers assist in performing the order.

Any limitation contained in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

We will attempt to resolve the matter directly with you.

Danish consumers who are unable to resolve an eligible dispute directly with Tavemio may, where the applicable requirements are satisfied, submit the matter to the Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager at Nævnenes Hus and subsequently, where applicable, the Forbrugerklagenævnet.

Nothing in this section restricts your right to seek another remedy available under mandatory law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and purchases from Tavemio are governed by Danish law.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country of residence.

Any dispute will be handled by a court or dispute-resolution body with jurisdiction under applicable law.

20. Changes to These Terms

Tavemio may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services or legal obligations.

Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law provides otherwise.

The terms applicable to an existing purchase will generally be those that formed part of the agreement when that purchase was made.

We will not retrospectively change an existing consumer contract to the customer's detriment where this is not permitted by law.
